An Aged Care group in NSW were looking for a way to deliver antibiotics and opioids to their residents, negating the need for them to attend hospitals. NSW Sales and Education Specialist for LTR Medical Amanda Narvo, introduced them to the Springfusor. The Springfusor is a spring-driven, portable infusion pump that can deliver medication over various time frames depending on the Flow-Control Tubing selected.
Amanda conducted the initial presentation to a group of key leaders via Zoom. The group decided to proceed with the Springfusor. “The Springfusor provided the group the opportunity to provide care for their residents in a safe, efficient and inexpensive manner” said Amanda.
Since implementation, it was discovered that a locked box was required to allow it to be used with Opioids. Amanda jumped into action and had a prototype manufactured which met the needs of the group. These are now being manufactured.
